AMADE - MONACO

AMADE-Monaco takes action both in Monaco and abroad.

All of our organization's broad activities are accomplished by an outstanding commitment of our members, all of them highly motivated volunteers, and by the donations of benefactors supporting AMADE-Monaco.

Our activities are often conducted just by our organization, sometimes in collaboration with other associations or with Monegasque organizations.

in Monaco

• AMADE-Monaco is open for any children-related request for financial or material support that is brought up by the associations or by one of the social assistants of Monaco or of the neighbouring countries.
• We participate in several events taking place in the Principality: exhibitions, fairs, ..., aiming at raising awareness for the problems of the children in the world.
• Various events and spectacles are organized under the patronage of AMADE-Monaco and for the benefit of our action taken throughout the world.
• AMADE-Monaco keeps up the collaboration with schools, to sensitize the children for the problems and realities in developing countries. Our organization partners with the student parents' Association of Monaco. Our goal is conducting events for the prevention of today's health hazards taken by youths as well as the organization of conference meetings aiming at strengthening parents in their educational responsibilities.
• Every month volunteers collect pharmaceuticals and every third Wednesday they meet to pack boxes destined for Madagascar and the Ivory Coast.

abroad

• Regular support has been agreed upon for the National AMADEs of countries associated to the School Passport :
• Lithuania
• Madagascar
• Guinea
• Argentina profited of a one-time support for the initiation of the School Passport.
• AMADE-Monaco sent a container to Benin, destined to children of Cotonou and of Ouidah, that was filled up with school- and teaching-related material: library books, games, toys, furniture, household appliances, clothes and pharmaceuticals.
• We have made use of the donations and funds handed over to us for the construction of schools and children's homes (Madagascar, Guinea). The construction was often guided by ourselves, sometime with participation of other Monegasque organizations.
• Achievements
• We can engage with special interventions outside our yearly programme if benefactors donate for a particular action to be taken, which they feel very concerned about, given – of course – that those interventions are well within our statutes.
